This time, we're diving into a space mission where the main goal is to get the four intergalactic gems that will get us the numeric code to save your planet.
But to get them, you'll need to travel around four different planets, finding valuable information you can use to respond to a series of questions and thus advance to the next celestial body.
Want to try? You can check it out right here!
In this Escape Room, you'll be able to edit:
- The start page
- A page where the mission and its crew is described
- The general missions
- The final mission
- The end page
1. Start Page
This page will work as a portal and an introduction to the game.
You'll find a Start button that will be linked to the next page, where the mission is explained.
2. Description of the Mission and Crew
On this page, you'll be able to briefly introduce the objective of the mission. You'll also be able to link a page to provide more information as well as a page about the crew in charge of completing the mission successfully.
This page will be the one linked to the Info button on the start page.
When you click on this button, you'll be directed to a page where you can provide more details about what needs to be achieved and express the objective of the mission.
This page will be linked to the Profile button on the start page.
When you click on that button, you'll be directed to a page where you can provide more details about the people in charge of completing the mission.
Both pages will have an arrow that allows you to return to the start page to begin the mission.
You'll also be able to edit the characters faces by replacing the images.
3. General Missions
Once you go to the missions, you'll see the a start page showing all of the planets to visit and an inventory that shows you the gems that you have. The planets will be illuminated according to the phase of the mission you are in.
This is where the game begins. This escape game is made up of a visit to four planets to obtain four gems, one per planet, to crack a code on the fifth planet which allows you to complete the mission.
The game system repeats the same type of challenge except for in the final challenge.
In the first four challenges, you need to find a series of points that will show a tooltip with information.
This information is valuable because it will help you answer a series of questions to be able to go to the next planet and get a gem.
Once you answer all the questions correctly, you'll get a gem and can travel to the next planet.
How do I edit the missions?
Search for information
On this page you'll find a series of bubbles made up of two layers and overlapped.
The first layer will have reduced opacity, which is adjustable to the level of difficulty we wish to create. When there's less opacity, it's harder to see the bubbles.
The second layer adds a luminous halo that appears after an established period of time. The halo is made to indicate the location of the bubble as a hint and allow all the information to be extracted. It can be accompanied by a continuous effect, if desired, to stand out even more.
Finally, just place the bubbles in the desired place and add the information in a tooltip or window.
Questions and Answers
When you download the template, this is what you'll find on the questions and answers page:
All you have to do is change the text out with our questions and answers.
There are three answers, two incorrect answers and one correct one
The incorrect questions are already linked to the error page:
The correct answers are linked to the following question or, in the case of the last question, to the page where you obtain a gem.
You can change the order of the answers or even add more incorrect answers, but don't forget that if you add more incorrect answers, you'll need to link those answers to the error page.
4. Final Mission
The final challenge requires that you solve a puzzle by dragging the gems collected and placing them in the correct position to get a code. This code will allow us to complete the last challenge after answering a series of questions.
How do I edit the final mission?
First, if you'd like to, you can change the combination of the numeric code by simply editing the text.
In accordance with the combination you choose, edit the rest of the pages to create the combination.
These pages are mostly made up of two invisible areas.
An area that covers the entire numeric space and that is linked to the page "incorrect password". So, if at any moment, you click on an incorrect number, you'll be heading down the error path until you see that page.
Then, there's a specific area which overlaps the "error area" and that covers only the incorrect numbers. So, when you click on a correct number, you'll be taken to a page where another correct number is, and so on and so forth until you decipher the entire code. In this moment, the questions of the final challenge will appear.
5. End Page
To win the game, you'll need to correctly answer the final set of questions. These questions take into account all the planets to test your knowledge gained.
They follow the same system as the questions from the rest of the missions. There are two incorrect questions and a correct one which will allow you to advance to the next question.
When you answer all the questions correctly, you'll have completed the mission and saved your planet!
Just like on the crew page, you'll be able to change out the face image for one of your character.
May creativity be with you!
