Did you know Genially offers all kinds of commands to optimize your work?
In the editor you will find a tool bar to edit shapes and other elements that appears when they are selected.

How to undo an action
It’s very easy. Just click the undo arrow in the tool bar or press Ctrl/Cmd + Z.
How does the copy and paste work
For this highly useful and known combination press Ctrl/Cmd + C to copy and Ctrl/Cmd + V to paste.
Another option is with the icons of copy and paste located in the editor tool bar.
How to delete elements
Click the trash can in the upper tool bar to delete elements in Genially. Another option is to press Delete and/or Backspace in your keyboard.
Just as with copy and paste, it’s possible to delete several elements at the same time with multiselection.
How to lock elements
When an element is locked its position in the workspace stays fixed. Editing is possible when an element is locked but it can’t be moved.
How to arrange elements
To send an element to the back or bring it to the front select the element and click on layer order in the tool bar. This article goes thoroughly over this subject.

How to change colors
To change colors select an element and choose the color or type the code of the color you want.
Upload custom colors to the editor to use them during your creations. (If you use the same colors over and over it will save you time!)

How to change transparency
Edit the transparency of an element with the tool bar. Select an element (forms for example) and select the percentage of transparency you wish to apply to such element.
How does multiselection work
To select several object at the same time press and hold Ctrl or Shift and then click on the elements you want to select.
Another way is to click and drag the mouse over all the objects you want to select.
How to transform an object
Sometimes we need to transform an image to adapt it to the design we are working on. To freely scale an object select the element and use the handles available.
How to group elements
To group elements together, select the objects you want to be part of a group and click on the Group icon. Check out this article to learn more about grouping.
